This year’s 4th annual Gabriel Dumont Scholarship Foundation Golf Tournament being held Friday, May 29th, 2015 at the Moon Lake Golf and Country Club in Saskatoon.
Our goal this year is to raise $30,000 which will be matched by the foundation to be awarded to Metis students as scholarships. -The tournament will consist
of 144 golfers from a variety of corporations, communities, industries, and professions.
GDI has been administering scholarships for Saskatchewan?s Metis since the early 1980s through its scholarship foundation trust. The scholarship fund is
based on a $2.5 million capital investment and scholarships are awarded on the interest earned on the fund?s principal and through individual corporate partnership donations. The Scholarship Trustees and Selection Committee awards scholarships twice per year.
