The Dumont Technical Institute a division of Gabriel Dumont Institute of Native Studies and Applied Research invites applications for the following position:

Faculty II – Business Certificate Instructor – Full time

Responsibilities: Provide professional teaching of the SIIT Business Certificate curriculum. To provide program support to adult students, plan and deliver course material, assess and evaluate student performance. Provide appropriate adult teaching methodologies and perform administrative duties. Areas of instruction include some of the following: General Business, Accounting, Finance, and Human Resources.

Qualifications: The candidate will have a Business related degree or diploma and recent, relevant business experience. Effective time management skills. Effective experience working as part of a team. Effective written and oral communication skills. Instructional ability with genuine commitment to help students succeed is required. Strong interpersonal skills and relationship building. Knowledge of Métis/Indigenous culture and experience teaching Indigenous adults would be considered assets.

Remuneration: A competitive salary and benefits package plus Northern Allowance or Housing Allowance

Location: Buffalo Narrows, Saskatchewan

Term: August 2022 – June 2023
