The Dumont Technical Institute a division of Gabriel Dumont Institute of Native Studies and Applied Research invites applications for the following position:
Administrative Assistant III

Responsibilities: To work with DTI educational programs, providing all support functions such as; directing calls and dealing with general enquiries from the public in person and over the phone, filing, typing, photocopying, faxing, sorting/routing mail, compose and type letters from general instructions, prepare tables, reports, invoices and other statements, attend and participate in various DTI meetings, general administrative duties, and assist in the maintenance of student records, relevant duties as required by other staff, as well as any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have an Office Administration Certificate or Diploma or Post-Secondary training in a related field.
The individual must have sound knowledge of and have practical application skills in all Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, flexibility, highly motivated and the ability to work with individuals from various equity groups and with little supervision is required.
Location: Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
Remuneration: Competitive Salary – GDI/DTI Grid Placement
Term: June 2022 – November 2022 (possibility of extension)
