Class 1 Driver Training (MELT) Program
This program will provide students with the opportunity to gain their Class 1 Driver’s license through the MELT (Mandatory Entry Level Training) Program.
Program Details:
The program contains Class 1 learner license prep, learner and license exam costs, training travel and accommodations required for learners living outside Buffalo Narrows. Program end dates will vary based on the student’s driving times and exam dates.
Entrance Requirements:
- Program end dates will vary based on the student’s driving times and exam dates.
- Must be 18 years of age or older at the start of the program.
- Must be a Saskatchewan Resident with a valid driver’s license and not be a Novice Driver.
- Must be a registered Métis citizen.
- Must submit an SGI Drivers Medical Exam before being accepted into the program.
- Submit your driver’s license and resume to reception@gdins.org for your application to be considered.
- The program will pay for travel and accommodations required outside of Buffalo Narrows as part of the training program.
