The Workplace 101: Lodging, Hospitality & Culinary Services program will help learners be better prepared to successfully engage in entry-level positions available in Service, Remote Lodging, Hospitality, and Accommodations Services, including Housekeeping & Room Attendants, Custodial Positions, and Kitchen and Cooking Support.
Over 8 weeks, participants will develop their essential workplace skills and role-specific knowledge and trade readiness; as well as a portfolio of industry-mandated certifications. This program will provide students with an understanding of the many job possibilities and related requirements for area employment.
Note: All program start dates and delivery methods may be modified or adjusted to ensure that DTI programs and services follow the direction, advice, and guidance of the federal and provincial governments and Saskatchewan’s Chief Medical Health Officer during this period of uncertainty results from the COVID-19 pandemic.
