Terms and Conditions

By enrolling in Gabriel Dumont Institute (GDI) micro-credentials you are agreeing that you:

  • have read, understood, and will comply with these Terms and Conditions.
  • have determined that the micro-credential is suitable for you by reading the details provided on the product page, including course content and any recommended prior knowledge.

Enrolment

  • Micro-credentials are designed for adults. The recommended age of enrolment is at least 18 years of age at the time of enrolment unless otherwise stated in the micro-credential description.
  • There is no time limit on completion, unless otherwise stated in the micro-credential description.

Payment

  • Payment is required at the time of registration.
  • Discounts must be applied at the point of registration. Discounts will not be processed retrospectively.

Refunds

  • A refund will be provided if the user has not completed any of the course content within the first two weeks following purchase.
  • Please choose carefully, as we do not offer a refund if you change your mind or find yourself unable to attend after this time period.
  • To request a refund, please email learn.services@gdins.org.
  • Any additional fees incurred during the process of completing the payment (e.g. credit card surcharge, bank fee, merchant fee, etc.) will not be refunded.

Privacy

By enrolling in a micro-credential:

  • you declare to the best of your knowledge that the registration information provided is true, correct, and complete.
  • you agree that your personal information will be collected, archived by GDI, and will be used by GDI only for the purposes related to your micro-credential enrolment and completion.
  • GDI follows guidelines set out by the Federal Government in the Privacy Act and the Access to Information Act.

  • you understand that GDI will correspond with you via electronic means.

Completion

  • Upon satisfactory completion of a micro-credential, you will receive a Micro-Credential Certificate.
