Educational Assistant

Dumont Technical Institute’s (DTI) one-year Educational Assistant Certificate program certified through Saskatchewan Polytechnic, will provide students with the skills and knowledge required to work in a classroom and support children. Educational Assistants provide the one-on-one support that makes today’s inclusive classrooms possible.

In this program you will learn to:

  • Work with children and youth that have diverse needs
  • Cultural awareness
  • Family Dynamics
  • Hands-on learning, and much more!

After successfully completing the program, graduates will have gained credits that can be transferred to the NSITEP (Northern Saskatchewan Indigenous Education Program) Bachelor of Education Program.

Application Details:

  • Grade 12 required
  • All applications can be submitted online
