GED Distance Learning Program

Dumont Technical Institute’s (DTI) Distance Learning GED program is a 16-week, full-time online GED program that helps participants complete their GED requirements while developing essential employability skills. GED tests measure the academic skills and knowledge expected of high school graduates. The tests are designed to measure general knowledge, ideas, and thinking skills that are normally acquired through four years of high school.

GED testing is compromised of five testing areas:

  • Reading
  • Writing
  • Mathematics
  • Science
  • Social Studies
