The HEO program prepares students for professional construction work as Heavy Equipment Operators. This program is a 240-hour program that includes in-class instruction and practical instruction. The program is designed to offer the majority of learning hours in practical instruction.

Students gain much-needed hands-on experience in operating heavy equipment to be able to enter the industry with confidence. Students are exposed to and get experience on the following equipment; excavator, dozer, grader, and articulated truck.
