The Dumont Technical Institute a division of Gabriel Dumont Institute of Native Studies and Applied Research invites applications for the following position:
Clinical Instructor – Practical Nursing Program – Regina

Responsibilities: To provide Clinical supervision to adult Practical Nursing students on the PEDS Unit at the Circle Project Children’s Centre. Manage clinical activities to ensure an optimum learning environment for students. Evaluate student performance using prescribed assessment measurements and provide academic guidance and feedback throughout the clinical, as required. Attend scheduled meetings, and other duties as assigned. Schedule can be provided if requested.

Qualifications: Candidate must possess a Bachelors Degree in Nursing, be a Registered Nurse and be eligible for registration (active status) with the SRNA. Ideal candidate would possess two years of recent/relevant industry experience or post-secondary teaching experience. Must possess effective communication, interpersonal, problem solving and time management skills. Flexibility and the ability to work with people from various equity groups is required.

Remuneration: $66,571 – $87,603 GDI Faculty II grid
Location: Circle Project Children’s Centre PEDS Unit
Term: November 7 – 10 & November 14 – 17, 2022 (60 hours)
