The Dumont Technical Institute a division of Gabriel Dumont Institute of Native Studies and Applied Research invites applications for the following position:

Administrative Assistant III – DTI Saskatoon

Responsibilities: To work with DTI educational programs, providing all support functions such as; directing calls and dealing with general inquiries from the public in person and over the phone, filing, typing, photocopying, faxing, sorting/routing mail, compose and type letters from general instructions, prepare tables and reports, attend and participate in various DTI meetings, general administrative duties, and assist in the maintenance of student records, relevant duties as required by other staff, as well as any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have Post Secondary Training in a related field.
The individual must have sound knowledge of and have practical application skills in all Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, flexibility, highly motivated and the ability to work with individuals from various equity groups and with little supervision is required.

Location: Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
Remuneration: GDI/DTI AA III Grid Placement
Term: July 2024 – July 2025 (possibility of renewal)
