The GDI Training & Employment, a division of Gabriel Dumont Institute of Native Studies and Applied Research invites applications for the following position:

Administrative Assistant III

Responsibilities: Reporting to the Employment Services Manager, the Administrative Assistant III will be responsible for ensuring quality administrative and reception support to Gabriel Dumont Institute through effective communication, organization and technical skill. Duties will include but not be limited to; greeting visitors, answering and directing phone calls, providing clerical support, and any other duties assigned by the Employment Services Manager.

Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a minimum Grade XII, with some post-secondary training in a related field; a preference will be given to candidates with a certificate or diploma in Office Education, Office Administration or business college training. An equivalent combination of training and experience will be considered. The successful candidate will be organized, confident and professional, with excellent verbal communication. Experience with Microsoft Excel would be an asset.

Location: Prince Albert, Saskatchewan
Remuneration: GDI/T&E AA III Grid Placement
Term: August 2024 – March 31, 2024 (possibility of extension)
