The Dumont Technical Institute a division of Gabriel Dumont Institute of Native Studies and Applied Research invites applications for the following position:

Responsibilities:
Provide in person instruction to 14 practical nursing students in classroom, lab and clinical experiences. Teach practical nursing skills courses including in-class instruction, marking of assignments and exams, assessment and communication of student progress.
Plan, organize, and administer accompanying lab component of skills course as well as assist with pharmacology labs & skills testing. Participate as part of the practical nursing team in meetings and planning as required.
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse – Bachelor’s degree in nursing, currently registered with the CRNS
And up to date TLR, CPR/BLS. Two years of recent experience on a medical or surgical acute care unit. Knowledge of Métis culture and ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Powerpoint, and Brightspace LMS an asset. Mother/baby unit experience an asset.
Remuneration: GDI Faculty 2 salary grid plus benefits package
Location: Regina, Saskatchewan
Term: August 2025 – 2 years with the possibility of extension
