Métis Cultural Development Fund (MCDF) is now accepting applications.

MCDF supports community-based activities and initiatives that preserve, strengthen, and transmit Métis culture and traditions.

Examples from past recipients include canoe trips, Métis dance lessons, podcasts featuring Métis Elder interviews, workshops featuring Métis art (beading, moccasin-making, finger weaving, etc), Métis culture days and camps, and so many more!

Receive up to $10K for your Métis cultural project!

Apply online by April 30, 2026

Projects must start after June 25, 2026
