Partnerships

GDI has entered into collaborative and coordinated partnerships with various stakeholders including employers, government departments, community organizations, and other training institutions to increase training, work experience, and employment opportunities for Métis people across Saskatchewan.

Partnerships increase opportunities for our Métis clients through scholarships, joint training, shared information, and employment placements. Further, partnerships support employers to meet human resource needs, and help stakeholders identify and respond to labour market needs.

If you’re interested in entering into a partnership with GDI, please contact us!

SCHOLARSHIP PARTNERSHIPS

Gabriel Dumont Institute recognizes the importance of building relationships with corporate businesses that aim to strengthen Aboriginal relations within the community.

GDI has recently created a matching scholarship program for the opportunity for public and private investors to participate in Métis education and employment.

The institute seeks to form partnerships with businesses, industries, crown corporations, and individuals to develop targeted scholarships and bursary initiatives directly linked to labour market demands.

Scholarship partnerships benefit employers by identifying high calibre Métis students studying in relevant fields, and Métis students benefit from the availability of a new Métis scholarship fund.

GDI is currently engaged in several partnerships that benefit Métis students across Saskatchewan, including partnerships with:

GDI welcomes the opportunity to build partnerships with corporate and independent businesses. For more information on scholarship donation opportunities, please contact the GDI scholarship coordinator at scholarships@gdi.gdins.org.
