Responsibilities: Responsibilities will include instruction and assistance to students to obtain their GED focusing on Language Arts, (Writing & Reading), Social Studies, Science & Mathematics. The individual will also assist students with employability and essential skills, provide advice and mentorship to students in career guidance and facilitate classroom learning using both online and in-person methods.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Education degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge and teaching experience in the Saskatchewan Basic Education process and adult education principles would be an asset. Good interpersonal and communication skills, flexibility and the ability to work with people from various equity groups are required.
