Responsibilities: Provide professional teaching of the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Office Administration Curriculum. To provide program support to adult students, plan and deliver course material, assess and evaluate student performance, provide appropriate adult teaching methodologies, and perform administrative duties. Métis cultural resources will be integrated into the curriculum. Areas of instruction may include some of the following: Accounting, Communications, Management, Math, and Computer Skills.
Qualifications: The candidate will have a four-year Bachelor’s Degree in Education with a major in Business Education OR four-year B.Ed. degree plus an Office Education certificate OR an equivalent combination of education and recent, relevant office experience. Two years (within the last five years) experience instructing at the post-secondary level specifically related to the instruction and/or delivery of a business management/office administration program, recent and relevant work experience in an office setting. Knowledge of Métis culture, experience teaching adults, experience in the instruction of MS Office and Accounting would be considered assets. This program is designed to provide knowledge and skill development related to the business office environment, with an emphasis on computer applications.
