The Gabriel Dumont Institute of Native Studies and Applied Research invites applications for the following position:

Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Métis Culture and Heritage department, duties will include but not be limited to:
• Assisting department staff with word-processing, transcribing, filing, and scanning;
• assisting with duties within our retail outlet such as customer service for telephone and walk-in queries and orders, retail preparation of goods, processing orders;
• moving inventory and cultural workshop supplies, room set-up for meetings and gatherings, and;
• other duties as assigned by the administrative staff in this department.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate would possess excellent public communication, report writing and general computer skills.
The individual must have knowledge of the provincial K – 12 Education system.
Applicant would be familiar with the learning resources produced by GDI.
Preference will be given to students currently enrolled in the GDI SUNTEP program. Flexible work hours may be available to accommodate full time students.
Location: Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
Remuneration: $19.23 per hour/ for up to 35 hours per week (all hours are pre-approved)
Term: November 2021 – March 2022 (possibility of extension)
