Program Coordinator

Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Director of University programs, the position will be responsible for the coordination of programs and services offered in a variety of GDI community based higher education programs. This will include being the central point of contact and resource for students, program staff, and a variety of stakeholders in the day to day administration of program offerings. The position will also maintain and organize a wide variety of information and ensure that information is captured and recorded to support GDI’s performance measurement framework for University program offerings. In addition, this role will include working with the Director in the marketing and promotion of a variety of program offerings in a variety of communities across Saskatchewan.
Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree in Education is preferred, applicants with other degrees will be considered; experience working within higher education settings and supporting students for success in academic studies. The successful candidate must have demonstrated competence in leadership, communication, analytical skills and professionalism. A good working knowledge of Métis history, culture and governance would be assets.
Term: October 2022 – October 2025 (3 years with possibility of renewal)
Remuneration: $62,779 – $82,613
