The Dumont Technical Institute, a division of Gabriel Dumont Institute of Native Studies and Applied Research invites applications for a Faculty II position for:

Faculty II – Early Childhood Education

Responsibilities: Delivery of instructional material and program supervision in Dumont Technical Institute’s Early Childhood Education program. Duties will include implementation of course materials (including reporting on learner outcomes and activities), liaising with local businesses, and the coordination of outside agency involvement. Instructor will also be responsible for workplace job placement, supervision and coordination.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Education with a major in Early Childhood Education or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Two years recent and relevant experience working in an Early Childhood Education setting as an Early Childhood Educator or Instructor. Effective interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral). Candidates will have effective instructional ability including, using technology to deliver course material online and in person. Candidates should be knowledgeable in Métis culture and value diversity, including the ability to deliver course material to a diverse group.

Term: February 15, 2023 – June 30, 2023
Location: Prince Albert, SK
Salary: $66,571 – $87,603
