The Dumont Technical Institute a division of Gabriel Dumont Institute of Native Studies and Applied Research invites applications for the following position:

Instructor – Practical Nursing Program – Leave Replacement

Responsibilities:
Implementation and delivery of the Practical Nursing Program in Regina, Sask. To provide practical, theoretical and clinical instruction as well as program support for adult students in the areas of Long Term and Acute Care Settings, Planning & Delivery of Nursing Arts Skills Course and Instructional assistance with labs. Manage classroom activities to ensure an optimum learning environment for students. Evaluate student performance, provide academic guidance, and attend scheduled meetings and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Registered Nurse – Degree in Nursing. Eligible for registration (active status) with the SRNA, have a current TLR Trainer Certificate. Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills. A knowledge of Métis culture, the ability to work with people from various equity groups and computer proficiency is required.

Remuneration: $66,571 – $87,603

Location: Regina, Saskatchewan

Term: January 2022 – January 2023 (possibility of extension)
