Dumont Technical Institute, a division within the Gabriel Dumont Institute of Native Studies and Applied Research invites applications for the following position:
Casual Tutor – Continuing Care Assistant Program
Competition Code- 2202 100S Dec 31
Responsibilities: To provide tutoring and program support to students of the Continuing Care Assistant Certificate program.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a certificate in Continuing Care Assistant. Familiarity in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) and Brightspace would be ideal. Experience working as a CCA and knowledge of Continuing Care Assistant classes would be an asset. Knowledge of Métis culture is a requirement. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, flexibility and the ability to work with people from various equity groups is required. Experience tutoring or teaching would be considered an asset.
Remuneration: As per GDI salary grid
Location: Saskatoon, SK.
Term: January 2023 – June 2023
