The Dumont Technical Institute a division of Gabriel Dumont Institute of Native Studies and Applied Research invites applications for the following position.

Faculty II – PHLEBOTOMY INSTRUCTOR

Responsibilities: Delivery of instructional material and program supervision in Dumont Technical Institute’s Phlebotomy program. Planning, delivery and assessment of the curricular outcomes. Technological skills to successfully deliver online and in-person programming. Reporting of student academic progress.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology Diploma from a recognized program. Current registration with CSMLS and SSMLT. Two years experience in Medical Laboratory field. Candidates with phlebotomy experience preferred. Effective interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral). Experience working with students in a lab setting would be considered an asset. Candidates will have effective instructional ability including, using technology to deliver course material online and in person. Candidates should be knowledgeable in Métis culture and value diversity, including the ability to deliver course material to a diverse group.

Remuneration: $66,571 – $87,603
Location: Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
Term: February 2023– July 2023
