Dumont Technical Institute, a division within the Gabriel Dumont Institute of Native Studies and applied Research invites applications for the following position:

Responsibilities: Responsibilities will include provision of supports and guidance to Métis students who are completing or have completed programming through Dumont Technical Institute. Relationship building and liaising with community partners, to best promote Institute graduates. Report composition, administrative and clerical support as required. Travel will be required to outlying areas, including Prince Albert.
Qualifications: The candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Education, Humanities or Social Sciences. An extensive understanding of the Métis culture and the Labour market for Métis and Aboriginal people is essential to the position. Good interpersonal and communication skills, flexibility and the ability to work with people from various equity groups is required.
Term: April 1, 2022 – March 31, 2023
