The Saskatchewan Urban Native Teacher Education Program of Gabriel Dumont Institute of Native Studies and Applied Research invites applications for the following position:

Responsibilities: To provide in-person instruction in Kinesiology (KIN 146) to students enrolled in the Saskatchewan Urban Native Teacher Education Program. This course will offer prospective and current College of Education students opportunities to increase their understanding of the role physical activity plays in the health and wellbeing of school aged children and youth.
The assignment would involve planning, preparation and delivery of appropriate course instruction to students. Manage classroom activities to ensure an optimum learning environment for students. Evaluate student performance and provide academic guidance.
Qualifications: Candidate must possess a Masters Degree in Kinesiology and /or equivalent combination of training and experience and be approved by the University of Saskatchewan. Good interpersonal and communication skills, flexibility and the ability to work with diverse student populations are an asset.
