Responsibilities: Development and delivery of an online GED Program, facilitate instruction and support to students to obtain their GED focusing on Language Arts, writing & reading, Social Studies, Science & Mathematics. The individual will assist students with the learning modules and facilitate online classroom learning through Brightspace.
Qualifications: The candidate will have a Bachelor of Education degree, Professional A Certificate and experience working with adult learners. Knowledge and teaching experience in the Saskatchewan Basic Education process and adult education principles would be an asset. Knowledge of or working experience in industry would be a distinct asset. Good interpersonal and communication skills, flexibility and the ability to work with people from various equity groups are required. Experience with computers and online programming an asset.
Remuneration: $66,571 – $87,603
Location: Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
Term: August 2023 – January 2024 (Leave Replacement)
