The Dumont Technical Institute a division of Gabriel Dumont Institute of Native Studies and Applied Research invites applications for the following position:

Clinical Instructor – Practical Nursing Program

Competition Code: 2302 108RW Jan 20

Responsibilities: To provide Clinical supervision to adult Practical Nursing students on a long- term care unit at Wascana Rehab. Manage clinical activities to ensure an optimum learning environment for students. Evaluate student performance using prescribed assessment measurements and provide academic guidance and feedback throughout the clinical, as required. Attend scheduled meetings, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, be a Registered Nurse and be eligible for registration (active status) with the SRNA. Ideal candidate would possess two years of recent/relevant industry experience or post-secondary teaching experience. Must possess effective communication, interpersonal, problem solving and time management skills. Flexibility and the ability to work with people from various equity groups is required
Schedule can be provided if requested. It is an 80-hour clinical over 2 weeks, May 29th-June 9th with the possibility of a few make up dates

Remuneration: $66,571 – $87,603 (Pro-rated for 80 hours)
Location: Wascana Rehab, Regina
Term: May 29, 2023 – June 9, 2023 (80 hours)
