Clinical Instructor – Practical Nursing Program
INTERNAL/EXTERNAL

Responsibilities: To provide Clinical supervision to seven (7) adult Practical Nursing students on a long-term care unit at Wascana Rehab. Manage clinical activities to ensure an optimum learning environment for students. Evaluate student performance using prescribed assessment measurements and provide academic guidance and feedback throughout the clinical, as required. Attend scheduled meetings, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, be a Registered Nurse and be eligible for registration (active status) with the SRNA. Ideal candidate would possess two years of recent/relevant industry experience or post-secondary teaching experience. Must possess effective communication, interpersonal, problem solving and time management skills. Flexibility and the ability to work with people from various equity groups is required.
11.5 day clinical over 3 weeks from Nov 13 – Dec 1 (8.5 hr days – 6:30am – 3:00pm)

Remuneration: $66,571 – $87,603
