Responsibilities:
Collegial process support to the Program Head and Faculty members in preparation of duties related to the GDC/NSITEP Programs; Collegial process support to the Program Head for student recruitment initiatives outside the post-secondary environment; Office duty support, greet and assist visitors; maintain professional communication via phone, email and mail; work with supply vendors; file; generate reports, agendas and presentations; coordinate and schedule meetings and take minutes; assist with Program orientations; and professionally anticipate the needs of others. Administrative support to the Program Head, Faculty members, and other personnel; forms and course preparation as required; Financial support to the Program Head including reconciling finances for which the Program Head is the financial manager; Program support as required, including program inquiries; student admission and student loan processes; special events; projects and initiatives; and other related duties assigned by the Program Head.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have an Office Administration Certificate or Diploma or Post-Secondary training in a related field. The individual must have sound knowledge of and have practical application skills in all Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, flexibility, highly motivated and the ability to work with individuals from various equity groups and with little supervision is required.

Term: August 16, 2023 – August 2024 (Possibility of renewal)
