Instructor – Office and Computer Training Program

Responsibilities: Responsibilities will include delivery of instructional materials and program supervision in Dumont Technical Institute’s– Essential Skills for the Workplace – Office and Computer Training program in Île-à-la-Crosse. This faculty I position will teach Essential skills, Office skills and Computer Training in the Ready to Work, Job Readiness & Career Training program. This program offers essential skills training beneficial to those working in office or administrative locations with responsibilities that would include basic computer skills. Duties will include the implementation of course materials (including the reporting on learner outcomes and activities), liaising with stakeholders, and the coordination of outside agency involvement.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a certificate in Office Administration and/or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Familiarity in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel), accounting, communications and office procedures is required. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, flexibility and the ability to work with people from various equity groups is required. This program offers essential skills training beneficial to those working in office or administrative locations with responsibilities that would include basic computer skills.
Term: March 18, 2024 to June 7, 2024
Location: Île-à-la-Crosse, SK
Salary: $57,215 – $75,292 (Faculty I wage grid) plus benefits package
