Part time Sessional Instructor – Medical Terminology

Responsibilities: To provide instruction to Office Administration Program students in Medical Terminology 200 (MTER 200). To provide program academic leadership to adult students, plan and deliver instruction, develop appropriate teaching and learning strategies, develop and maintain an ongoing consultative relationship with appropriate individuals and groups in the field of security, facilitation of evaluation of student skills and performance, provide guidance, and perform minor administrative duties.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of experience working in a position requiring the knowledge of medical terminology. Experience teaching Medical Terminology is required. Effective oral and written communication skills are required. Candidate must be highly energetic and motivated and have a demonstrated ability to work as part of a team. Candidates should be knowledgeable in Métis culture and have excellent interactive skills, including the ability to deliver interactive workshops to a diverse group.
