The Dumont Technical Institute a division of Gabriel Dumont Institute of Native Studies and Applied Research invites applications for the following position:

Full Time Lead Instructor – Practical Nursing Program

Responsibilities:        

To provide practical and theoretical instruction as well as program support for adult

students in the areas of Long Term and Acute Care Settings, Planning & Delivery of Nursing Arts Skills Course and Instructional assistance with labs. This is a non-clinical position, other than coverage.

As the lead instructor for the program you are responsible for lab supply ordering, organization and tracking. Semester scheduling and clinical scheduling along with regular instructional duties. Student meetings and attendance as well as other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Degree in Nursing. Eligible for registration (active status) with the

SRNA, having a current TLR Trainer Certificate would be an asset. Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. 2 years of recent acute care experience would be an asset.

Remuneration:                 $66,571 – $87,603

Location:                            Regina, Saskatchewan

Term:                                  August 2024 – August 2026 (possibility of extension)
