The Dumont Technical Institute a division of Gabriel Dumont Institute of Native Studies and Applied Research invites applications for the following position.
CASUAL MATH INSTRUCTOR

Responsibilities: Delivery of instructional material and program supervision in Dumont Technical Institute’s Adult Basic Education programs. Planning, delivery and assessment of the curricular outcomes. Technological skills to successfully deliver online and in-person programming. Reporting of student academic progress.
Qualifications: The candidate will have a Bachelor of Education degree and experience working with adult learners. Knowledge and teaching experience in the Saskatchewan Basic Education process with grade 12 curriculum, adult education principles and teaching grade 12 Mathematics is required. Good interpersonal and communication skills, flexibility and the ability to work with people from various equity groups is required. Willing to travel to rural, remote, northern communities is required. Must hold an active registration with SPTRB or be eligible to register.
Remuneration: $66,571 – $87,603
Location: Saskatoon, Saskatchewan including regular travel
Term: January 2024 – January 2025 ( possibility of renewal)
