The Dumont Technical Institute a division of Gabriel Dumont Institute of Native Studies and Applied Research invites applications for the following position:

Clinical Instructor – Practical Nursing Program – Herb Bassett

Competition Code: 2402 108P PN Mar 21

Responsibilities: To provide Clinical supervision to adult Practical Nursing students in long term care at Herb Bassett Home in Prince Albert. Manage clinical activities to ensure an optimum
learning environment for students. Evaluate student performance, provide academic guidance and feedback. Attend scheduled meetings, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, be a Registered Nurse and be eligible for registration (active status) with the SRNA. Ideal candidate would
possess two years of recent/relevant industry experience or post-secondary teaching experience. Must possess effective communication, interpersonal, problem solving and time
management skills. Flexibility and the ability to work with people from various equity groups is required.

*Schedule May – 21 (8 hours) May 22,23,28,29,30(10 hours each day)
June 4,5,6,11,12,13(10 hours each day) June 14 (2 hours eval)

Remuneration: $66,571 – $87,603 GDI Faculty II grid
Location: Herb Bassett Home, Prince Albert
Term: May 21, 2024 – June 14, 2024
