Biology 102/103 Instructor – Practical Nursing Program

Responsibilities: To provide instruction in BIO 102 and 103 to adult students enrolled in the Practical Nursing program. Planning, preparation and delivery of appropriate Biology course instruction to students. Manage classroom/lab activities to ensure an optimum learning environment for students. Evaluate student performance, provide academic guidance and make appropriate curriculum adjustments to course content, as required. Flexible learning may require online instruction methods. Attend scheduled meetings, evaluation of student progress and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Candidate must possess a four-year Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Anatomy and Physiology, or a Master’s degree in a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Two years recent/relevant business or industry experience or post-secondary teaching experience. Good interpersonal and communication skills, flexibility and ability to work with diverse student populations are an asset.
Remuneration: As per Sessional salary grid – $65/HR
Location: Regina, Saskatchewan
Term: February 2025 to December 2025
