Dumont Technical Institute, a division of the Gabriel Dumont Institute of Native Studies and Applied Research, invites applications for the following position:

Program Coordinator 1 – Student Services

Competition Code: 2402 200S Oct 3

Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Program Coordinator 2 of DTI, the Program Coordinator 1 Student Services position will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of GDI/DTI student registration, including but not limited to, data management, program design, student marks, student communication, staff training, report composition, and staff supervision. This position will work collectively with DTI and GDI Program Managers to ensure program statistics are completed in a timely manner. Strong time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to problem solve is a requirement.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science/Studies, Business, Education, or a relevant field of study. Two years post-secondary with relevant experience and strong interpersonal skills may be considered. An understanding of strategic enrollment management would be considered an asset. An extensive understanding of Métis culture and the labour market for Indigenous people is essential to this position. The flexibility to work with people from various equity groups is required

Remuneration: A Competitive Salary and Benefits Package
Term: October 2024 – October 2025 (with the possibility of renewal)
