Dumont Technical Institute, a division within the Gabriel Dumont Institute of Native Studies and Applied Research invites applications for the following positions:
Program Administration Support (ABE)

Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Program Coordinator, the Program Administration Support (ABE) individual will be responsible for providing program support to DTI Program Coordinators. Facilitate the student recruitment, selection and registration process. Perform specific funding requirement reports and documents as required. Provision of ongoing statistical and analysis reports for the Institute and stakeholders. Administer/input data into the Student Information System (SIS), with maintenance of a detailed system of official student files. Regulating timelines and overseeing tasks to ensure quality control and completion. Participate in stakeholder meetings and liaise with affiliated Institutions pertaining to SIS. Travel within Saskatchewan as required.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related Discipline (Commerce, Education, Social Science, etc.). Equivalent experience and education may also be considered. Experience with Government programs, student loans and SIS. The successful candidate must have demonstrated competence in leadership, communication, analytical skills and professionalism. Strong working knowledge of governmental regulations and compliance. A good working knowledge of Métis history, culture and governance would be assets.
Term: August 2024 – August 2025 (possibility for renewal)
Remuneration: As per GDI Counsellor 1 pay grid
