The Gabriel Dumont Institute Training & Employment invites applications for a position as the Summer Youth Assistant at their office in Pinehouse, Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Employment Services Manager and Employment Counsellor, the Summer Youth Assistant will be responsible for ensuring quality administrative support to Gabriel Dumont Institute Training & Employment through effective communication, organization, and technical skill. Duties will include but not be limited to; special projects, office coverage, representation of GDI at provincial events, organizing resources; general office duties; travel throughout the province will be required any other duties assigned by the Employment Services Manager.
Qualifications:
To be eligible, applicants must be youth aged 15 – 30. The ideal candidate would be Métis, possess excellent public communication skills, good report writing skills and general computer skills are required. This position is funded under the Canada Youth Summer Work Program.
Term: May 2024 – August 30, 2024
Location: Pinehouse, SK
Salary: $19.23 per hour
