The Saskatchewan Urban Native Teacher Education Program (SUNTEP) – Gabriel Dumont Institute of Native Studies and Applied Research invites applications for the following position:

Sessional Supervisor for Field Placements (4 positions)

Competition Code: 2404 100R FP Dec 6

Responsibilities: SUNTEP Regina requires Sessional Supervisors for pre-service teachers (field involvement, pre-intern or intern) in Regina and/or surrounding area. Sessional Supervisors will be assigned to supervise pre-service teachers in the field through the SUNTEP Regina office.

Sessional supervisors are expected to be available to visit and provide support/guidance as needed by the pre-service teacher and/or cooperating teacher for the duration of placement. Must have access to a personal vehicle.

Qualifications: The ideal applicant will have a Master’s degree in Education or degree in Education with significant teaching experience.
Candidates must possess proficiency with Saskatchewan curriculum documents and have understanding of current pedagogical approaches in the K-12 system, specifically culturally responsive pedagogy.

Remuneration: U of R Sessional Supervisor wage grid
Location: Regina, SK
Term: January 2025 – April 2025 (various days)
