Sessional Instructor – Introductory English Composition (ENG 113)

Responsibilities: SUNTEP Saskatoon requires a sessional instructor for ENG 113 – Introductory English Composition for 2025 Winter Term. This course is designed to prepare students in learning an introduction to the major forms of narrative literature in English. In addition to learning the tools of critical analysis, students will study and practice composition.
The assignment would involve planning, preparation and delivery of appropriate course instruction to students. Manage classroom activities to ensure an optimum learning environment for students. Evaluate student performance and provide consistent feedback. Awareness and implementation of culturally responsive approaches.
Qualifications: Candidate must possess a Master of Education and /or equivalent combination of training and experience in the content area and be approved by the University of Saskatchewan. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, flexibility and the ability to work with Indigenous student populations are an asset.
Remuneration: U of S Sessional Lecturer wage grid
Location: Saskatoon, SK
