Summer Library Assistant

Responsibilities:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic student to join our library team as a Library Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to library patrons, assisting with book checkouts, locating materials, providing basic computer assistance and additional duties as appointed by the SUNTEP program head. Additionally, you will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the library space.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will understand cataloguing of resources. Must understand how to navigate library sites, software with updated library software and coordinate borrowing schedules.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, flexibility, highly motivated and the ability to work with individuals from various equity groups and with little supervision is required.
Location: Prince Albert, SK
Remuneration: $19.23/hr
Term: June 2024 – August 2024
