Employment Services Manager – Health Partnerships

Responsibilities: The Employment Services Manager – Health Partnerships will support the coordination, delivery, and enhancement of health training and employment initiatives under the Nurturing Our Future – Building Métis Public Health Services Project. Reporting to the Director of GDI Training and Employment, the Employment Services Manager – Health Partnerships will: Develop and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders such as Métis Nation—Saskatchewan (MN—S), Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA), Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC), Dumont Technical Institute (DTI), and private health employers.
Collaborate with industry partners to identify workforce needs and develop demand-driven training programs with Dumont Technical Institute. Facilitate employer-student connections through work experience opportunities and job placements/wage subsidies. Monitor and evaluate program success, compile reporting data, project budgets, and ensuring alignment with project goals. Promote the project and its training programs across Saskatchewan. Represent the Institute at meetings, project panel meetings, conferences, and public engagements.
Prepare proposals, progress reports, and partnership agreements. Travel throughout Saskatchewan as required.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Commerce, Education, Public Health, or a related field. Demonstrated experience in partnership development, project management, or stakeholder engagement.
Strong understanding of Métis culture and health-related workforce challenges in Saskatchewan. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. The capability to develop program initiatives and be a self-starter. Experience with program evaluation and data analysis is an asset. 2–5 years of experience in training, health programming, or community services is preferred.

Remuneration: Competitive Salary & Benefits package
