Administrative Coordinator – Leave Replacement

Responsibilities: Reporting to the Director – Training & Employment, the Administrative Coordinator will be responsible for the effective administrative functions and the coordination of the daily, recurrent and ongoing activities of GDITE specific to Special Projects (Entrepreneurship and Apprenticeship); maintain spreadsheets and client management system; assist/organize meetings; maintain filing systems; compile reports for funders; monitor GDITE offices; provide coverage to other GDITE Programs as required; and all other duties as assigned by the Director and the Institute.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Business Administration, Office Administration or Administrative Assistant. A minimum of two years post-secondary education with equivalent experience will be considered. The successful candidate must: have experience with reviewing documents for completeness and accuracy; be organized and able to prioritize tasks; be able to exercise good judgement in recognizing scope of authority and protecting confidential information; be proficient in Office 365, Excel, and SharePoint; and have the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Term: December 1, 2025 to May 15, 2026
