Sessional Instructor – Organizational Theory in Education (EDL 819)

Gabriel Dumont College requires an EDL 819 Organizational Theory in Education Sessional Instructor, for the Indigenous Community Based Masters of Education program. This course will include an analysis of the role of school leaders with reference to general systems theory, organization theory, cultural-social institutions, role theory, formal organizations, bureaucracy, goals and effectiveness, organizational control, conflict in organizations, stability, change, innovation and growth.
The role involves planning, preparing, and delivering appropriate course instruction to students. The instructor will manage classroom activities to ensure an optimal learning environment. Additionally, the instructor will evaluate student performance and provide consistent feedback, while being mindful of and implementing culturally responsive teaching approaches.
Qualifications:
The candidate must possess a Master of Education and/or an equivalent combination of training and experience and must be approved by the University of Regina. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively with Indigenous student populations are essential assets.
Remuneration: U of R Sessional Lecturer wage grid
Location: Saskatoon, SK
Term: July 1, 2026 to July 31, 2026 (39 teaching hours)
