Responsibilities:
SUNTEP Prince Albert is seeking a dedicated Tutor to provide academic support to students. The successful candidate will assist students with academic organization, essay writing, assignment completion, and wellness support. Responsibilities include conducting both one-on-one and group tutoring sessions, providing constructive feedback on written assignments, and helping students balance their lives as a university student. Preference will be given to the candidate available from Monday-Friday during school hours (9-4).
Key duties include preparing tutoring materials, maintaining a schedule aligned with student needs, and offering targeted instruction on writing and assignment completion.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Education or equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
Knowledge of Indigenous Pedagogy, particularly Metis cultural contexts, is an asset.
Term: September 15, 2025 – April 30, 2026
Remuneration: $40.00 per hour (6 – 10 hours per week)
Location: SUNTEP Prince Albert, 48 12 Street East
