The Saskatchewan Urban Native Teacher Education Program (SUNTEP), a division of the Gabriel Dumont Institute of Native Studies and Applied Research, invites applications for the following position:
Full Time Administrative Assistant IV

Responsibilities:
To provide administrative and operational support to the Program Head, Faculty and students. Assist with daily office operations, communications, scheduling, record keeping and maintaining professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Will also be responsible for supporting program activities; events; recruitment initiatives and student related processes as required. The administrative assistant will assist with financial and administrative tasks, respond to inquiries, contribute to special projects and initiatives while maintaining a high level of professionalism, organization and adaptability while performing other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
The candidate will have an Office Administration Certificate or Diploma or 1-year post-secondary training in a related field. Proficiency in Microsoft office, including Word and Excel, along with strong organizational and administrative skills is required. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, adaptability, initiative and the capacity to work independently. The ability to foster positive working relationships with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and communities is essential.
Location: Prince Albert, Saskatchewan
Remuneration: GDI Administrative Assistant 4 wage grid
Term: July 13, 2026 to July 12, 2027 (possibility of renewal)
