The Dumont Technical Institute, a division of Gabriel Dumont Institute of Native Studies and Applied Research, invites applications for the following position.
Casual Faculty II – ABE/OA INSTRUCTOR
Competition Code: 2602 101R OA/ABE Mar 6
Responsibilities: Delivery of instructional material and program supervision in Dumont Technical Institute’s Adult Basic Education and Office Administration programs. Planning, delivery and assessment of the curricular outcomes. Technological skills to successfully deliver online and in-person programming. Reporting on student academic progress.
Qualifications: The candidate will have a Bachelor of Education degree and experience working with adult learners. Two (2) years of teaching experience is preferred. A demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with other staff and external agencies. Excellent written, verbal, and time management skills. Highly organized with excellent problem-solving skills. An extensive knowledge and understanding of Métis culture and the educational needs of the Métis community.
Remuneration: $72,038 – $94,798
Location: Regina, Saskatchewan
Term: March 2026 to June 30, 2026
