The Gabriel Dumont Institute invites applications for a 1 year full time position as Faculty III at the Northern Saskatchewan Indigenous Teacher Education Program (NSITEP) in Air Ronge, Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities: Reporting to the Program Head – NSITEP, the Faculty III duties comprise of teaching University level courses including, but not limited to,various Curriculum courses, and Indigenous Studies courses; supervision of student teachers; academic and professional counseling and student support. Faculty will maintain regular office hours to counsel and assist students in their program. Faculty will also participate in and assist in organizing student group-building and cultural activities.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a Masters Degree in Education; a Professional A Teaching Certificate; a minimum of five (5) years of successful classroom teaching experience in the K – 12 system and/or post-secondary level and a strong knowledge of Métis and First Nations issues in culture and education. Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered, subject to approval by the University of Regina. The successful candidate must be organized and able to prioritize tasks; friendly, personable and able to build harmonious working relationships; must be able to exercise good judgement and protect confidential information.
Remuneration: $81,413 – $107,135 plus benefits package
Term: August 2026 – August 2027 (possibility of renewal)
