The Gabriel Dumont Institute of Native Studies and Applied Research invites applications for the following positions with The Saskatchewan Urban Native Teacher Education Program (SUNTEP):

Sessional Field Supervisors

Responsibilities:
SUNTEP Regina requires Sessional Field Supervisors for pre-service teachers (Yr 2 field involvement, Yr 3 pre-intern and Yr 4 intern) in Regina and/or surrounding area. Sessional Supervisors will be assigned to supervise pre-service teachers in the field through the SUNTEP Regina office.

Sessional supervisors are expected to be available to visit and provide support/guidance as needed by the pre-service teacher and/or cooperating teacher for the duration of placement.

Successful applicants will be placed on a 3-year term list and positions will be appointed based on availability.

Qualifications: The successful applicants will have a degree in Education with significant teaching experience. Candidates must possess proficiency with Saskatchewan curriculum documents and have an understanding of current pedagogical approaches in the K-12 system, specifically culturally responsive pedagogy.

Must have access to a personal vehicle as some placements may be in rural areas.

Remuneration: U of R Sessional Supervisor wage grid
Location: Regina, SK
Term: September 1, 2026 to August 31, 2029
