Gabriel Dumont College – Saskatoon requires a sessional instructor for The Politics of Education (ED 817)

Course Description: This course examines the politics of education at the federal, provincial and local community levels. Emphasis will be given to both formal and informal decision-making processes, and the relationships among interest groups, school boards, local communities, the media, and provincial and federal political institutions.

Responsibilities: Develop and deliver course content that aligns with the course objectives.
Engage students in interactive and practical learning experiences. Monitor and assess student progress and provide constructive feedback. Facilitate discussions and activities that encourage active learning. Support students in their learning.

Qualifications: The successful candidate must possess a Master of Education and /or equivalent combination of training and experience, and be approved by the University of Regina. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, flexibility and the ability to work with Indigenous student populations are an asset.

Remuneration: U of R Sessional Lecturer wage grid
Location: Saskatoon, SK.
Term: September 1, 2026 – December 22, 2026
